Bow Slides and Rooftop Bars

Hola amigos, welcome back! One of my favorite things to do during the Summer in NYC is to visit rooftop bars and restaurants for cocktails and great eats. From 230 fifth to David Burke's Kitchen at the James Hotel, it's pretty safe to say that I have been to quite a few rooftops here in NYC and I still have a list of more rooftop bars and restaurants I have yet to visit. On the top of my list is Bar SixtyFive at Rainbow Room. It is located at the Top of the Rock building in Rockefeller Center. I visited top of the Rock  a couple of years ago with my sister who came to visit from Florida and the views were breathtaking! I can already imagine the views with a glass of frose, I might even be bold enough to try their most popular cocktail. 

 My sister is coming to visit in a week or so. I might just use her visit as an excuse to go check it out. Last time she came I took her to 230 fifth, she really enjoyed herself. 230 Fifth is a very touristy spot, I have a a feeling that Bar Sixty Five is going to be similar but better with those amazing views!

At this point you might be wondering why are we talking about bars. Well, I wore this outfit to a rooftop bar  called Rooftop 93 with a friend. Nowadays, when I craft an outfit for a party, bar or any event where I am trying to have fun, my main goal is comfort. Back in the days, I would go for the sexiest pair of heels but now I choose stock heels. Gone are the days when I go to a party to just seat by the bar and look at every one dancing and having fun!!! I want to be on the dance floor dancing and having fun too. That is why I decided to go with my new favorite shoes from Avec Les Filles. No, this is not a sponsored post. I purchased them at Macy's a couple of weeks ago and I am in love. They are  a show-stopper and they are so comfortable.

The dress is from Pretty Little Thing. It really is a pretty little thing, look at it!!! LOL I feel so feminine, and girly and pretty every time I put it on. It was my first time ordering from their web site and I was skeptical about the sizing because it is a UK based website. I ordered a size 8 and it was the perfect size. I usually wear a US size small or medium depending on the cut.
